In 2022, during the Facade Video Festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Food of War unveiled an audiovisual creation recounting the narrative of the carrot cake and its strategic manipulation during World War II by the British Ministry of War. Carrots, being readily available, were symbolically linked to strength and vitality, embodying traits such as visual acuity, reproductive prowess, and prosperity, thus making them a fitting emblem of wartime resilience.
