At the International Photography Congress, CONFOCO 2017, organised by the Complutense University of Madrid, Food of War photographer and artist, Quintina Valero, was part of a Roundtable titled "Photographers Facing the Outside: Practices from Photojournalism, Documentary Photography, and Educational Projects: Human Rights and Humanitarian Crises."
